This spotted feline is a living mystery!!! It could be one the oldest breeds of house cat! Cats were first bred in Egypt from the African wild cat around 1200 years ago. They were bred to kill rodents. The Ancient Egyptians loved cats so much, they mummified them! They even had a cat god!

Cats are crepuscular. That means they are awake at dawn and dusk. Maus are built skinny, but strong! MEOW POWER! Their front legs are shorter than their back legs. Just like a cheetah, they have a fold of skin on their bellies. This helps their legs to stretch back further.

Maus are friendly, with a dog like personalty. Woof-ow? They like warm places. Who doesn't like good sunbath? They are smart cats who bond with their owners. I have one last thing to say: Maus are awesome!!!!!! Enjoy these photos!
